love blackness joy

Like the Black joy and Black love it explores, LUDALA is has been an ever-evolving project, from;

its initial R&D experience (Oct '20);

a transformation into 3 short films which debuted at Edinburgh Fringe (Aug '21);

and the live outdoor adaptation of one of the film pieces "IS DAT U YH?" at GDIF and Albany (Sep '21)

IS DAT U YH.png

GDIF21 (WOOLWICH)   Albany (DEPTFORD)

...on a trip down that memory lane from Elephant to Peckham, four galdem supply us

with all the vim and nonsense inbetween!

we honour the mixture, marriage fusion

of our tongues in this joyous ode

to waaaaayyy back when;

a surreal celebration of our love of food, expressive mannerisms, and Black Brit millennial identities still glistening with diaspora roots.
